Art is my “second act”, having been a full time mother, then a teacher of children of various ages.  My formal education is in elementary education, secondary education, math and physical science.  From these earlier years I bring an ongoing fascination with people, young and old, a well developed sense of humor and a lively curiosity. I have been fortunate to have traveled and to have lived in areas of rich culture.  My art is informed by all of these experiences. I now live in Plymouth with my husband, Dick, and our sweet pup, Lucy, who sometimes shows up in my prints and paintings!
